Japanese Symbol Dictionary

Japanese Symbol Dictionary at Babylon I've been using Babylon for over 3 years and it has been a great tool to receive excellent translations and word definitions; it is easy to use, and, if you spend a lot of time on your computer, indispensable.

If you are learning Japanese (or intend to), I recommend Babylon's Japanese Genius Meikyo Premium Dictionary. The Genius dictionaries contain excellent translations, all with easy to use examples; It also gives you language nuances, grammatical points, rich information on honoric words and Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana usages. They offer a seven-day trial!

What is Babylon?

Simply put, Babylon is a desktop translation software that works on the idea of a single-click translation.

Babylon also has an array of free dictionaries and glossaries: Check out their free English to Japanese dictionaries.

Tangorin is free online Japanese dictionary that enables you to search in in Romaji, Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. It is a great tool to learn the brush strokes of Kanji as it shows the number of strokes in a small flash presentation. I love it and I am sure you will too.
